Looks like ‘Action King’ Arjun is back to what he is best at – action. He has teamed up with stunt choreographer Tinu Verma who is turning director with ‘Kaattu Puli’. Tinu Verma has bagged the Filmfare award seven times as the best stunt choreographer.

‘Kaattu Puli’ is set in the dense jungles of Thalaikonam forests in Kerala. The story zooms in on three couples, who take a trek into the forest and get mangled in a sensational crisis. They meet another family in Arjun, Priyanka Desai and their daughter Dhanya. The film then deals with how the characters untangle from the crisis and how Arjun rescues them from the wilderness.

While shooting for ‘Kaattu Puli’ the entire team of stars had camped in the forests braving the challenges posed by nature in the form of wild animals, poisonous snakes and leaches. More than 50 horses were used for filming some scenes. While the equines were stationed in the forests they were guarded by security for fear of being attacked by leopards.

Action sequences in the forests have always resulted in hits for the action hero and this film will be no exception feels the hero of ‘Kaattu Puli,’ Arjun. The other characters in the film include Mr India title winner Rajneesh, Miss India Sayali Bagath, Miss Assam Hanaya – Amith, and Jahan - Jennifer. Rajneesh and Sayali are pairing in this film for the first time.

The direction and stunt choreography have been taken care of by Tinu Varma. Vijay Varma is the music composer for this thriller project and photography has been handled by Rajendra Prasad.
