Singles seem to be the season of Tamil cinema. Close on the heels of ‘Vaanam’ team releasing ‘Evandi unnai pethaan…’ much before the official audio launch of the film, a similar attempt is now being made for ‘Mankatha’.

The complete audio song of the recently released teaser ‘Vilayadu Mankatha…’ will be launched soon as a single by Sony Music. This, director Venkat Prabhu and producer Dhayanidhi Alagiri feel, will elevate the expectations on the film.

The teaser released on the net on Ajith’s birthday (May 1) is already a huge success and has almost become a trend in the world wide web by receiving many a hit within a very short span of time.

Meanwhile, Vijay Antony too is planning to launch a single from his acting debut ‘Naan’, soon. The number, whose starting words are ‘Makka laya…’ will have racy beats like ‘Nakka Mukka…’, ‘Dailamo…’ and ‘Usuma Lasarey…’
