Vijay Antony has some valid points to justify his decision to don the greasepaint in ‘Naan’, his first film as protagonist. “It is a beautiful script and I find myself fit to the lead role,” the music composer says.

‘Naan’ will be late cinematographer-director Jeeva’s camera assistant Jeeva Shankar's maiden venture as director. “The protagonist role required exactly a face like me. I believe I have done justice to it,” says Vijay Antony.

Throwing more light on the film, he says, “It is not the usual movie. It comes with a difference. And within minutes the film starts, you will forget Vijay Antony, the music composer, and will see me as an actor.”

“Don’t call me a hero,” the music composer says and adds: “I would prefer myself being called as an actor. And I would also like to clarify that music will always be my first priority. But will continue acting at the same time.”
