Vijay Antony has some valid points to justify his decision to don the greasepaint in ÂNaanÂ, his first film as protagonist. ÂIt is a beautiful script and I find myself fit to the lead role, the music composer says.
ÂNaan will be late cinematographer-director JeevaÂs camera assistant Jeeva Shankar's maiden venture as director. ÂThe protagonist role required exactly a face like me. I believe I have done justice to it, says Vijay Antony.
Throwing more light on the film, he says, ÂIt is not the usual movie. It comes with a difference. And within minutes the film starts, you will forget Vijay Antony, the music composer, and will see me as an actor.Â
ÂDonÂt call me a hero, the music composer says and adds: ÂI would prefer myself being called as an actor. And I would also like to clarify that music will always be my first priority. But will continue acting at the same time.Â
