Karan is back after a break. The actor’s ‘Thambi Vettothi Sundaram’, a movie which according to him is based on a real life incident in southern Tamil Nadu, is getting ready to see the light of the day.

“I am in no hurry. I always measure my steps and want to be part of quality films. I am very careful before choosing scripts and this is the reason behind the gap between my movies,” he says.

“Competition is heavy in Kollywood these days. There are many young talents who are making their presence felt in a big way. So there is no point in committing films just for the sake of acting,” the actor adds.

On ‘Thambi Vettothi Sundaram’, he says, “for the first time I am playing a character inspired by real life. I tuned myself as a Kanyakumari man for the film. It is a bold and interesting story.”
