Dhanush fans are going to have a blast on April 8th when their star’s film ‘Mappillai’ will hit theatres across Tamil Nadu. The film is a present day remake of the superstar’s 1989 film with the same name. ‘Mappillai’ (2011) is presented by Sun Pictures, and like all the other blockbusters it has presented, this one sure has all the ingredients in the right proportion for a hit. The audio was launched recently and was received well. Vivek the reigning comedy star has supplied the film with generous doses of rib-tickling comedy.

Mappillai (2011) has Dhanush in the lead role with Hansika Motwani as his pair. The film also sees Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala in a pivotal role. The music for the film is by Mani Sharma and there are seven music tracks in the film, inclusive of the title track.
