Looks like it is a jungle out there in Kollywood. First the lion roared loud with Suriya’s ‘Singam.’ Then it was the game of younger ‘Siruthai’ by Karthi. Soon followed Jeeva’s double-action thriller ‘Singam-Puli’ and now it is time for Dhanush’s ‘Venghai’ which translated into Tamil means Leopard.

This leopard is on its final leap towards completion. We are talking about the ‘Venghai’ team who are heading to Malaysia to shoot the last schedule. There will also be a song shot, say sources close to the director. ‘Venghai’ is being directed by Hari and sees Dhanush and Tamannah as the lead pair. Hari is known for his fast-paced films. Dhanush-Tamannah pairing has resulted in a hit previously with ‘Padikadhavan.’

Yet another winning streak for this film is the music director. Director Hari has roped in DSP (Devi Shri Prasad) for this film. So we can expect some fast, foot-tapping numbers, and some sweet melodies. All films of Hari have a trait of strategy attached to it, so we can expect some edge-of-the-seat scenes in ‘Venghai’ too.

Once the shooting is ready and the songs are in place we will let you know on the date when the songs will be released. Dhanush is also shooting for Selva Raghavan’s ‘Irandam Ulagam’ which sees him pairing with singer-actress Andrea Jeremiah.
