It was only a week ago IndiaGlitz reported that Shruthi Haasan had crooned for ‘Udhayan’, a film starring Arulnidhi as protagonist. Now we have some more interesting details about the movie’s album.

It is learnt from reliable sources that popular rapper Baba Sehgal, along with Kollywood’s home talent Suchitra Karthik, sung a number for ‘Udhayan’, composed by Manikanth.

For those who want more details about Manikanth, he is the son of saxophone legend Kadri Gopalnath. “The voices of Baba Sehgal and Suchitra have added more value to Manikanth’s tune,” say sources.

‘Udhayan’ is the second film of Arulnidhi, the ‘Vamsam’ hero. Directed by newcomer Chaplin, who had worked as an assistant to popular directors Dharani, Karu Pazhaniappan and Pandiraj, the movie is produced by Prabhakaran on Muthamizh Padaippagam banner.
