The wait is to set to come to an end for R Parthiban. For, the actor-director is on the verge of completing his forthcoming film ‘Vithagan’, but for a song and very few scenes.

Select members of the movie’s cast and crew would soon leave for Poland to shoot the song sequence. “The film will be a big summer release in the third week of May,” sources close to the director say.

Meanwhile, Parthiban is getting ready to join hands with Gautham Vasudev Menon for a television series. “The project to be directed and produced by Gautham would have Parthiban playing a detective. Rahman will score the music,” sources say.

It was during the dubbing of ‘Vithagan’ Gautham and Parthiban became best friends. As it was the ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’ directed who had dubbed for Milind Soman, the baddie in the Parthiban-directed movie.
