Known for maintaining silence on films he is part of, maestro Illayaraja has come out in open saying that Suseendran’s ‘Azhagar Samiyin Kudhirai’ should emerge successful in the box-office.

“Because, the victory of ‘Azhagar Samiyin Kudhirai’ would encourage those in Tamil cinema to make more such movies. It is an honest attempt of international quality,” says the Isaignani.

“In Iran, filmmakers would select actors only after they are ready with the scripts. Suseendran too has followed it for ‘Azhagar Samiyin Kudhirai’. This has elevated the film to a new level,” Illayaraja says.

Saying that the movie would prove that there are talents in Kollywood to make films of global standards, the king of music adds: “I am not saying this because I have composed music for ‘Azhagar Samiyin Kudhirai’.” The music of the film was launched in Chennai Wednesday.
