Director G N R Kumaravelan, who came to limelight with ‘Ninaithaley Inikkum’, has expressed his desire to remake ‘Kalyanaraman’ and ‘Aduthaathu Albert’, both directed by his father G N Rangarajan.

Eagerly expecting the release of ‘Yuvan Yuvathi’, the Bharath starrer, he says, “Remake is the trend now. I would like to add value to the above films with the help of present day technology.”

Saying that the originality of old films should not be spoiled, Kumaravelan adds: “Those involved in remakes should have in mind that they are reworking a landmark film and the essence should be maintained.”

On ‘Yuvan Yuvathi’, he says, “It is a youthful entertainer. Bharath has given his best and we have shot the film extensively in abroad countries. The movie will see the light of the day soon.”
