The last Friday of this month will be fiercely contested weekend of February. Jeeva’s ‘Singam Puli’ is slated on that day and now we hear Dhanush is also entering the fray.

Subramaniam Shiva directed Dhanush film ‘Seedan’ is also releasing on February 25. ‘Seedan’ is the remake of the Malayalam hit ‘Nandanam’. Dhanush plays an extended cameo while debutant Krishna and ‘Naadodigal’ Ananya play the main leads. Vivek, Suhasini, Meera Krishnan, Chemeen Sheela, Ponvannan and Ilavarasu play other major character.

‘Seedan’ will have its family audience as it has been cleared with a clean `U` certificate. Though Dhanush says he is not the hero but is in an “amazing role”, the public is receiving the film as a Dhanush film. What impact it will create at the box office is to be watched.
