Though Vijay’s entry into politics will happen only after he turns 40 according to his father SA Chandrasekaran, the Ilaya Thalapathi is making some smart moves to keep the spirits of his fans alive until then.

After successful releasing ‘Kavalan’ fighting his invisible enemies, Vijay is making smart moves to get more close to the people. Recently when he was shooting in Pollachi for ‘Velayudham’, Vijay was very cordial with the huge audience who came to see him everyday.

To further peg his political tent deeply, Vijay is taking up the cause of innocent Tamil Nadu fishermen who are getting killed by the Sri Lanka Navy right under the nose of the Indian government.

Vijay has planned to lead a protest demonstration in Nagapattinam on February 22 condemning the state and central governments for not protecting the legitimate rights of Tamil fishermen, there by throwing down the gauntlet in his enemy camp directly.

Vijay has gained more confidence after his ‘Kavalan’ is declared a super hit among the Pongal releases. Looks like its payback time for Ilaiya Thalapathy.
