'Sattam Oru Iruttarai' becomes 'Sattapadi Kuttram'

'Sattam Oru Iruttarai' was one of the important films in the 1980s, which is still remembered for its bold theme. Directed by S A Chandrasekar, the movie too a dig at loopholes in the system.

And now, the director is planning to recreate the magic. He is currently busy with the movie's remake, which, according to him, would suit to the taste of new-gen audience.

"The title of the remake will be ‘Sattapadi Kuttram’, I am at present zeroing in locations to shoot the film," Chandrasekar told reporters, during his location hunt at Thalavadi area in Erode district of Tamil Nadu.

"The first half will be centered in Chennai and the latter half in forest areas. The remake will be more racy than the original. An official announcement will be made soon," the filmmaker said.
