The music launch invitation of 'Ilaignan', scripted by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi (this is his 75th film), has raised many eyebrows in Kollywood.

For it is not just an invitation, but a tastefully carved album which has stills from the movie printed on high quality sheets. Adding more to it are verses by Pa Vijay (who plays the lead), describing the photographs in beautiful Tamil.

Says Suresh Krishna, the director of 'Ilaignan', "Understanding fully well the script by Kalaignar, Vidyasagar has come out with beautiful songs. So we wanted to come out with an invite which would stand as a prelude to the album. Producer S Martin has no second thought to spend for the massive invitation."

The audio launch function will be held on December 5 at a popular multiplex in Chennai in which Karunanidhi, Superstar Rajinikanth and top guns from political and film worlds will mark their presence.
