Neetu Chandra, who was initially tipped as the heroine of AjithÂs 50th film ÂMankathaÂ, says she had to turn down the project as she could not give the dates demanded by director Venkat Prabhu.
ÂThis is the only reason for me not being part of ÂMankathaÂ. It is an opportunity I feel that I had missed, says the Bollywood actress, who made her Kollywood entry with Madhavan starrer ÂYavarum NalamÂ.
Currently sharing the screen space with ÂJayam Ravi in Ameer-directed ÂAadhi BhagawanÂ, Neetu says, ÂIt is a powerful script which has a beautiful role for me. And I am excited about it.Â
Heaping laurels on Ameer, she says, ÂHe is one filmmaker who takes utmost care to shape his movie. He gives his 100 per cent efforts to his film and it is visible on the sets of Aadhi Bhagwan.Â
Interestingly, Neetu has danced with Ameer for a special number in MysskinÂs ÂYuddham SeiÂ, which has Cheran playing a police officer.
