The long wait of Narain is set to come to an end. The ‘Anjathey’ actor’s ‘Thambikkottai’, which is an action entertainer and a multistarrer, is ready to hit theatres ‘at the earliest’.

Directed by Ammu Ramesh, the film has Poonam Bhajwa, Prabhu, Meena, Sangeetha, Santhanam, M S Baskar, Ganja Karuppu, Manobala and ‘Naan Kadavul’ Rajendran among others in important roles.

Says Narain, who became a familiar face in Kollywood after ‘Chithiram Pesuthadi’, “It is a racy script which deals about the enmity between two villages. How a love affair changes everything is the crux.”

Sangeetha plays a dada named Beeda Pandiamma in ‘Thambikkottai’. But her character has a good heart and she terrorises the villain Rajendran of ‘Naan Kadavul’ fame, insiders say and add: “Sangeetha has many dialogues that pack a punch.”
