An actor from Thailand is crossing swords with Vijayakanth in ‘Viruthagiri’, the Captain’s debut directorial venture which is getting ready for an audio release in a couple of days.

“Two villains are there in the film and a Thailand actor is one of them. The actor from Bangkok has played the lead role in many films there. He is happy to be part of Captain’s film,” say sources.

“A couple of stunts scenes shot at Australia and Malaysia will be highlights of the film,” sources maintain and add: “Vijayakanth is leaving no stone unturned since this is his maiden film as a director.”

Produced by L K Sudeesh on Captain Cine Creations banner, ‘Viruthagiri’ has Arunpandian and Mansoor Ali Khan in pivotal roles. “It is the story of an honest police officer who investigates a crucial case.”
