How many of you would believe if we say that the knot of 'Mynaa' struck director Prabhu Solomon near a Court premises? But that's the truth and read it in the filmmaker's own words.

"One day I was coming out of a Church at Saidapet and there was a Court nearby. There I saw an accused accompanied by a couple of policemen. This gave me an idea to make a film."

"I wanted to go inside the relationship they share and what brought them to the Court. When I put my imagination into it, it became a nice script and this is how ‘Mynaa’ was born."

Happy about the feedback the film is getting, Prabhu Solomon says, "We were hopeful at the time of making the movie itself that it would win acclaims. But such a huge response is unexpected. Thank God for everything."
