Arjun, the ‘Action King’ of Kollywood, is brimming with optimism that his ‘Vallakottai’ which will hit the screens this Friday will attract the audience thanks to the ingredients infused by director A Venkatesh.

“Venkatesh is a shrewd filmmaker, who knows the knack of making highly entertaining stuff,” the actor says and adds: “Rarely does an actor get the opportunity to do all that he is capable of in a single movie. In ‘Vallakottai’ I got to do just that.”

This is Arjun's third film with Venkatesh after ‘Vadhiyar’ and ‘Durai’. “Producers and distributors suggest we team up because our earlier films have done well. And Venkatesh and I share a great rapport,” says Arjun.

On doing action movies again and again, he says, “My fans have always preferred me in action-packed movies. I have to pay heed to their demands. I however feel making an off-beat movie is easier compared to making commercial films.”
