Dismissing reports that appeared in a section of the media that she would soon act in a Malayalam film, Shruthi Haasan has said that she did not have any such plans as of now.

"Though I am interested at acting in all languages. I don't have any plans in the near future to do a Malayalam movie", said the actress-musician-singer, clearing the air.

Recently, reports claimed that Shruthi will play the female lead in a film to be directed by T K Rajeev Kumar, whose last film, 'Oru Naal Varum' had Sameera Reddy in the lead role.

Shruthi, who debuted as an actress in Bollywood 'Luck', is currently acting opposite Suriya in '7am Arivu', directed by A R Murugadoss and produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin. She has also scored music for her dad Kamal Haasan starrer 'Unnaipol Oruvan'.
