It's Deepavali for Rajini fans

Rajinikanth, who enjoys demi-god status in these parts, has proved it once again. For lakhs of fans all over India today celebrated the release of his latest venture 'Endhiran' like Deepavali or New Year.

Produced by Sun Pictures and directed by Shankar, this much hyped sci-fi film which is touted as the costliest Tamil movie till date, hit the silver screens with great hype today.

Rajini fans thronged theatres all over Tamil Nadu, including about 30 theatres in Chennai city. And they were on cloud nine to watch their Thalaivar on action.

Kalaimani, who was coming out from Vettri Theatre in Chromepet, a southern suburb of Chennai, said, "Endhiran is awesome. Thalaivar has proved that he is the only superstar of Indian cinema with this film. Thanks to Shankar for giving us the best".

Rajeev, an avid fan of Rajini and Rahman, who watched the film at an upmarket multiplex, said, "Rajini dancing to Rahman's tunes has energised us a lot. Both have delivered their best".
