A stunt scene for ‘Puli Vesham’, a film by P Vasu which has RK of ‘Ellam Avan Seyal’ and ‘Azhagarmalai’ fame playing the protagonist, was shot on a tree near Mahabalipuram for five days.

Says the film’s stunt director Rajasekar, “fight scenes are usually shot at godowns, restaurants and other places. We wanted to try something different for ‘Puli Vesham’ and hence selected a tree for the action.”

He adds: “We wanted a very big tree since the fight involves 25 stunt actors. After a long search, at last we zeroed in on one near Mahabalipuram. RK cooperated well and the stunt scene will be one of the highlights of ‘Puli Vesham’.

Produced by RK himself, Sadha and Divya Viswanath are playing the heroines in this movie, which is directed by P Vasu after a gap. Yesteryear hero Karthik plays a pivotal role while ‘Ganja’ Karuppu takes care of comedy.
