Madurai to Theni Vazhi Andipatti was one small film which succeeded purely on merits. The small budget film made in 1.8 crores managed around 5 crores at the box office. The hero of the film Arvind was also appreciated for his soft realistic performance. Though he was introduced in ‘Balam’ it was only ‘Madurai to Theni’ that made him memorable.

The young Arvind has now bagged his third film which will be directed by one Sanjeev. Sanjeev will do a TR in this film by handling most of the work including story. Screen play, dialogues, choreography and direction. Sanjeev was an assistant to Prabu Deva and Raghava Larencce and so got the confidence to do all, he says.

The film will soon hit the floors. Miss Bengaluru Runner-Up Chamanthi is debuting as a new heroine in Tamil with this film.
