Poorna is all smiles. For she has bagged a meaty role in a film titled ‘Naran’, which, according to her, would show the world her acting skills. “It is a meaningful role which has enough scope for her to perform,” circles close to the actress say.

“She plays an ardent fan of Jyothika in the movie directed by journalist-turned-filmmmaker Aadhi. As per the role, she has to imitate whatever the actress does. So Poorna is currently busy watching Jyothika films,” they add.

Meanwhile, throwing light on the movie, Aadhi, who made his foray as a director with ‘Silandhi’, says, “It will be a new script to Tamil audience. It will drive home the point that there is a higher power above us.”

“Choreographer Agnishwaran plays the hero, while ‘Ganja’ Karuppu is there to tickle the funny bone. Shaman Mithru, a former associate of Ravi K Chandran and K V Anand wields camera for the film produced by Dinesh Karthik. Music is by Dheena while National award-winning editor Satish Kurasova is responsible for the editing,” Aadhi adds.
