‘Vande Matharam’ in July

Producer Henry is all ready to strike with his big star cast film ‘Vande Matharam’. It is a bi-lingual in Tamil and Malayalam starring Mammootty, Arjun and Sneha together for the first time.

‘Vande Matharam’ analyses farmers struggle and related social violence to put forward an amicable solution to have lasting harmony. In the story Mammootty and Arjun play police officers and Sneha plays a woman pilot.

The film is directed by Aravinda Raj after a long time. Aravinda Raj turned Tamil film industry to technology with well made films like ‘Oomai Vizhigal’ and ‘Senthoora Poove’ in the eighties. Even the producer is known for quality social films like ‘Marumalarchi’, ‘Bharathi Kannama’ and ‘Pudhumaipithan’ before.

The music ‘Vande Matharam’ is by D. Imman and the audio is being launched on July 3. Sources say the film will have simultaneous release both in Tamil and Malayalam in July. Most probably on July 15.

A highlight of the film will be a patriotic song penned by Vairamuthu to the tune of Imman. The song rendered by ten popular singers is sure to create waves.
