“The one who bashes up ten is not a complete man. But the one who is liked by a woman,” said debutant director R K Surya Prabhakar, who has taken the above lines as the theme of his first film ‘Tha’.

Speaking to reporters in Chennai Wednesday, the former associate of Samuthirakani said, “The film is set in a village near Coimbatore. It is about a violent man whose heart undergoes a sea change after falling in love.”

“Sri Hari, who was working with an airline crew, is the hero and a Mumbai girl named Nisha is the heroine,” the director said and added: “We gave intense training to all the artistes for two months before going for shooting.”

Thanking producer Rajesh Uthaman, Surya Prabhakar said, “But for his support the film would not have taken shape in such a nice way. All that he wanted was a product I visualised without any compromise.” Srivijay, a Sri Lankan Tamil, is making his debut as a music composer in ‘Tha’.
