Boopathi Pandian is back to square one. After delivering commercial cocktails like ‘Thiruvilaiyadal Aarambam’ and ‘Malaikottai’, the director is now ready with a love story, quite like his debut venture ‘Devathaiyai Kanden’.

The film, titled ‘Kadhal Solla Vanthen’, has Balaji and Meghna playing the lead. Meghna is the daughter of yesteryear actors Sundar and Parimala of ‘Thappu Thaalangal’ and ‘Vaidhegi Kaathirundhal’ fame, respectively.

“It was my dream to direct a love story again and the wish is fulfilled with ‘Kadhal Solla Vanthen’. I didn’t rope in any big names for the project since I felt that newcomers would do the justice,” Boopathi Pandian says.

Heaping laurels on Yuvan Shankar Raja, the music composer of the movie, the director says, “His music is one of the major strengths of ‘Kadhal Solla Vanthen’. He has done a wonderful job and his songs will become chartbusters soon.”
