When the entire ‘Dhaam Dhoom’ unit was gripped with shock after Jeeva's sudden death, it was K Manikandan, one of the associates of the cinematographer-director, who completed the movie and ensured that it became a hit.

Now, the “proud student of Jeeva” is ready with his next venture. Titled ‘Chikku Bhukku’, the film has Arya and Shriya Saran in lead roles. “I can vouch that the movie would be a perfect entertainer for all sections of the audience,” the filmmaker says.

He adds: “I learnt a lot of things from my mentor Jeeva. ‘Think big and be confident about whatever you take up,’ he would say. I am sure ‘Chikku Bhukku’ will work, thanks to its script and lead players.”

On the movie’s storyline, he says, “It is a romantic travelogue. As the title suggests, a train will be seen in the background in most part of the movie. The film starts in London and ends in Karaikkudi.”
