Going strong in her second innings is Roja, so to say. The dream girl of 1990s, who made her comeback to acting post marriage, has bagged hefty offers from Tamil and Telugu film industries.

The actress-politician, who did the role of a politico and the mother of a youngster in ‘Sambho Siva Sambho’, the Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster ‘Naadodigal’, is now playing Asin’s mother in Vijay starrer ‘Kaavalkaran’, directed by Siddique.

Besides, she played a pivotal role in the recent Telugu hit 'Golimar'. Tollywood critics say her power packed performance as Priyamani's mother in the movie has fetched her new fame in the industry.

Says Roja, “I am happy to restart my acting career as I am back to where I belong. I have shed my weight to make it big in the second innings. And I am hopeful that the audience would accept me this time too.”
