“Our forthcoming film Quarter-Cutting is a story of happenings that take place in Chennai on a single night,” says the filmmaker duo Pushkar-Gayathri of ‘Oram Po’, the Arya-Pooja starrer, fame.

“Shiva, SPB Charan and Lekha Washington play the lead roles,” they inform and add: “We have shot the film on the roads of Chennai during night times. Most part of the shoot is over. A few songs alone are left.”

Produced by Y Not Productions, ‘Quarter-Cutting’ is a comedy caper. G V Prakash is scoring the music while cinematography is by Nirav Shah. Dance master Kalyan and Abhinaya Shree are playing pivotal roles.

Circles close to Pushkar-Gayathri say the title ‘Quarter-Cutting’ will be changed adhering to the norms of Tamil Nadu government to name movies in Tamil. Lekha Washington is playing a 19-year-old girl in this movie.
