Even as his recent release ‘Paiyaa’ making waves at the box-office, plans are clear for Dhayanidhi Alagiri, the proud owner of Cloud Nine Movies, as far as his future ventures are concerned.

The young producer, who is currently producing ‘Thoonga Nagaram’, a film set in Madurai, and getting ready to start the 50th film of Ajith directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, has roped in Vettrimaran of ‘Polladhavan’ fame for his other production venture, we learn.

“Vettrimaran, who is giving final touches to Dhansush starrer ‘Aadukalam’, recently narrated a story to Dhayanidhi and his colleague Vivek Rathinavel. It impressed them a lot and they have come forward to produce it,” sources say.

On the Ajith starrer, they say, “the film will go on floors tentatively by July, once the actor comes back to India from Formula 2 races. The script is completely ready and the movie will have music by A R Rahman, who composed chartbusters for Gautham’s last venture ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’.”
