Even as Gautham Vasudev Menon has announced that he would do another project with Silambarasan in the lead role, the 'Vinnaithandi Varuvaya' hero is getting ready to give a fresh lease of life to his long-pending film 'Vaaliban', we learn.

"Vaaliban is getting delayed due to various unavoidable reasons. But Silambarasan has made up his mind to revive the project this time. And he is busy doing ground work for that," sources say.

"The shoot of the film, produced by S S Chakravarthy of NIC Arts, will start by the end of this month. It is not just a love story, but a subject with patriotism in its backdrop," add sources.

To be directed by Silambarasan himself, the film would have the music score of Yuvan Shankar Raja, who worked earlier with the actor for 'Manmadhan' and 'Vallavan'. Chakravarthy had earlier produced 'Kaalai'.
