South India Artistes Association president Sarath Kumar has said no timeframe was given to Ajith to explain about his speech at the felicitation function for Chief Minister M Karunanidhi and the attack allegedly made by his fans on the house of stunt master ‘Jaguar’ Thangam.

Speaking to reporters at Thenkasi, he said a decision has been made not to discuss in public about the Ajith-‘Jaguar’ Thangam issue. “We have asked an explanation from Ajith. But no timeframe was given for it.”

The Nadigar Sangam chief said further decision would be taken after they received Ajith’s reply. On the Vadivelu-Singamuthu fiasco, he said the SIAA could only ask explanation from the actors since the issue is in Court.

Meanwhile Sarath Kumar will start his next film called 'Vidiyal' on March 12. The film will have continuous shooting for 40 days in and around Tirunelveli.
