Madhumitha has turned down a couple of regular heroine offers in Tamil as she wants to do only meaningful roles. She has taken this decision after the impact Ameer starrer 'Yogi' made on her.

"I don't want to act in stereotype roles which don't have much scope to prove my talent. Of course, I did such roles in the past. But I want things to be different post 'Yogi'," she says.

Elaborating more, the actress says, "Because many had appreciated me for my performance in 'Yogi'. I want to continue the good show in the future too. Also, I want fans to remember me for a long time."

On acting with Ameer, she says, "We all know him as a talented filmmaker. But the actor in him came out in full vigour on the sets of 'Yogi'. We all were stunned to see him performing without any fear in front of the camera."
