‘Mathiyosi’ is another movie waiting to strike the right chords with rural Madurai backdrop as its strength. Nanda Periyasamy is directing the film based on the lives of four young boys who come to Chennai city from their village after doing petty crimes in village. The crime and punishment in city life and the undercurrent romance is the lifeline of the film.

The film also comes with a social message on the disparities in social order and how depriving anything will harm all irrespective of their association.

Harish, Gopal, Alex and Lokesh are the brats and the girl who enters into their world is Shammu. Director Ravi Mariya plays a strong effeminate villainy character which is going to be a highlight. Directors Ponvannan and GK Kumar also play important roles. Shekar Reddy who earlier produced ‘Ammuvagiya Naan’ produces this film also.

Cinematographer Vijay Armstrong, Music Director Guru Kalyan, Editor Kola Bhaskar and stunt master Speed Syed are keen to give a hit film.
