Talking to Siva is like watching ten commercial potboilers, for the actor is yet to come out of ‘Thamizh Padam’. Even as the first full-length spoof of Tamil cinema hit the screens and witnessed a thunderous opening, the actor continues to mouth ‘punch dialogues’ at those who visit him.

“My fans are my salary” was the response from the ‘Agila Ulaga Superstar’ of ‘Thamizh Padam’, when asked whether he would increase his remuneration. “The more their number, the more the salary,” the actor continues his ‘punch’.

He has a message to his ‘fans’. “I request my fans not to waste milk by performing ‘paalabhishekam’ on my cut-outs. But there are scenes in the movie in which people worship me and sing my praises.”

And there is no stopping to Siva. He adds: “My character in ‘Thamizh Padam’ has all the elements of a superhero. At one point time, even the US President would ask me to save the world."
