Arun Vijay’s 'Maanja Velu' produced by N S Mohan under their home banner Feather Touch Entertainments is nearing completion. And the climax sequence of the movie was filmed in an open land at Perambur Binny Mills.

Sources say that a set like that of a ruined temple with a 50 ft tall 'Aiyanaar' statue was erected at a whoping 65 lakhs. This climax fight was shot with the latest and advanced techniques by stunt master Kanal Kannan for ten days. Two outdoor units and four cameras were used in filming this fight, they say. Industry sources say that the climax fight which is very important in the movie had Chandrasekar, Prabhu, Vijayakumar, Anu Haasan, Ilavarasu and 30 stuntmen.

When asked about Arun Vijay’s getup in 'Maanja Velu' he says, “With the completion of this climax fight, shooting for the movie ‘Maanja Velu’ will be done in approximately 5 days. Moreover I appear with a tonsured head for more than 20 minutes in the movie which is a very crucial portion according to the script.”

So, looks like we gonna have a full commercial treat waiting to hit the screen. Watch out for Manja Velu!
