Produced by N C Manikandan of Mayabazaar Cinemas and presented by Boys Studios, ‘Pugaipadam’ is directed by Rajesh Lingam. The film will be the depiction of friendship in a novel way, with seven fresh faces Shivam, Nandhu, Harish, Amzath, Yamini, Priya, Anand and Mirinalini in the lead.

These seven people have not merely acted, but also lived it up for the movie. ‘Pugaipadam’ tells how love creeps like a snake through the happy life of these friends and spits poison on the bond between them. After they part ways, these friends start to feel the pain and what happens next is the story. ‘Pugaipadam’ will reflect the life of contemporary college students and their campus life, adds the sources.

Rajesh Lingam’s ‘Pugaipadam’ has Gangai Amaran working on its music, where he will be giving life to the traditional music that we heard during Illayaraja’s period. Vijay Armstrong cranks the camera while P. Lenin takes care of the editing table.
