Vasantha Balan who made waves through ‘Veyil’ is all set to release his long pending ‘Angadi Theru’ by January 2010. The film has newcomer Mahesh in the lead, pairing with Anjali of 'Kattradhu Thamizh' fame.

This Ayngaran International Production is the story on the lives of a salesgirl and sales boy of a popular saree store in Chennai. The directed even erected a realistic set that looks like T Nagar Ranganathan Street with the help of the art director GK.

The film’s audio is interestingly done by both G.V. Prakash and Vijay Antony and was launched at a grand event held in Sathyam Cinemas earlier. G.V. Prakash is working with the director for the second time in this one after successful debut through ‘Veyil’.

Sources close to the production house confirm that the film will be releasing on January 25th. On the other hand, director Vasantha Balan is discussing about his next venture with his associates.
