Rumours were abuzz that the shoot of ‘Thaillalangadi’ directed by ‘Jayam’ Raja is being delayed because of Vaigai Puyal Vadivelu.

There were a lot of stories about Vadivelu not co-operating with the team of ‘Thaillalangadi’ by attending the shoot at 11.00 am in the morning and leaving the set at 4 in the evening. We also heard that the comedian demanded Rs.1 crore for 15 days call-sheet and the same was agreed to be paid by the makers. Looks like Vidivelu was also paid an advance amount of Rs. 50 lacks. It was said that only 3 days of his call-sheet is remaining while there is a lot more to be covered.

When IndiaGlitz wanted to uncover the truth behind those news, we got in touch with the director ‘Jayam’ Raja. “All those news are untrue. We have wrapped-up the portion of Vadivelu while we were shooting in Malaysia and Singapore. In fact Vadivelu and his comedy track are a big plus for Thillalangadi,” he clarified.

"Shaam is doing almost a parallel role to Ravi, while Vadivelu is in a full length role. It is going to be an energetic entertainer,” the director concluded.
