Known for movies laced with realism, filmmaker Sanjay Ram is ready for the next. And the hero of his yet to be titled project, if sources are to be believed, is Sarath Kumar.

It is said that the ‘Nadigar Sangam’ chief was impressed by a story narrated by Sanjay Ram following which he immediately gave consent to be part of the project. Following this, preproduction works are on in a full swing, it is said.

Unlike other movies of Sanjay Ram which had southern districts as backdrop, the new project would revolve around Chennai, it is learnt. With right mix of action and realism, it would be a movie to reckon with for both Sarath and Sanjay, sources say.

The important thing is- Abhirami, who acted opposite Sarath in ‘Samuthiram’ and ‘Dosth’ and is currently taking a break from acting, has been reportedly approached to play an important role in the movie.
