The multifaceted actor-turned-producer is making it to the headlines every now and then. Prakash Raj, who won a National Award for his performance in Priyans Kanchivaram, is now a busy man directing a Kannada movie. The actor who has already acted in all southern languages will wield the megaphone for Naanu Nanna Kanasu a remake of Tamil film Abhiyum Naanum.
The man is quite busy with his debut venture in Bangalore but, somehow made his presence felt for a recent book launch that happened in Chennai.
Titled Eazham Mounathin Vali, the book is collectively written by Kamal Haasan, A R Rahman, Ameer, Bala, Lingusamy, Mysskin, A R Murugadoss, Pa Vijay, Thamarai, K V Anand, Balaji Shakthivel, Abdul Rahman, Tamilachi Thangapandian, Na. Muthukumar, Kabilan, Sivakumar, Arivu Madhi, Mu. Medha, Nakeeran Gopal, Jath Guru Jaggi Vasudev.
The question that Prakash Raj and A R Murugadoss raised during the book launch made the whole auditorium to raise their eyebrows in awe. When Prakash Raj Spoke he asked, We have well-fare organizations to question people who hunt animals, but do we have any one to question people who hunt humans? They can justify the murder of adults but, how can they justify the assassination of children?
When Murugadoss spoke he quoted, I feel like if we are living in an era of barbarians when I see the photographs in this book. When we explain these brutalities to our people in North they simply ignore it by saying that its Sri Lankan problem. When there was earthquake in Gujarat, Tamils were there to heal them. When there was war in Kargil we were there to support them. But, when there is an open genocide happening, none is bothered. What is responsible for this negligence? Politics? Revenge? Ego? or Religion?
