Nothing can stop ‘Peranmai’ from going places, one has to say. Perhaps for the first time in Tamil cinema, the film directed by S P Jananathan will be dubbed in English and will hit theatres in the United States and United Kingdom.

An official announcement today said US-based Fusion Edge has acquired the English dubbing rights of the ‘Jayam’ Ravi starrer. The company will dub the movie in American and Britain English and will release it in the respective countries, the announcement added.

Produced by Ayngaran Interantional, ‘Peranmai’, which hit theatres this Deepavali, is about a forest officer’s attempts (along with five young girls) to prevent ultras from destroying a rocket mission by India.

‘Jayam’ Ravi played the forest officer role, while Vasundhara, Dhanshika, Maha, Liasri and Saranya played the five NCC cadets. S R Sathish Kumar cranked the camera for ‘Peranmai’ while music is by Vidyasagar.
