Miss India South 2009 Ragini Dwivedi is entering Tamil cinema with a film titled ‘Ariyaan’. The Bangalore beauty is also the first runner-up at last year’s Miss India beauty pageant.

Says Ragini, who had already made a mark in a Kannada movie, “Ariyaan a romantic thriller with interesting twists and turns. Acting in a Tamil movie is so interesting. I am thoroughly enjoying my work.”

A new face, Aadhitya, is being introduced as the hero in ‘Ariyaan’, which is being directed by Karthikeyan. Aadhitya plays an ad filmmaker who faces unexpected problems in his profession. Pakru plays the comedian.

Vikram Varman, who trained at the Australian School of Music, scores music for the movie. Produced by Prabadeesh, an action sequence for ‘Ariyaan’ was recently shot at a risky location, situated in a 200-foot-deep ravine in Kodaikanal.
