The director has chosen our Singara Chennai as his script’s backdrop this time and has named it ‘Nagaram’. We heard that when his people asked Sasi to show his face at least in one frame, he said a firm ‘No’! The director is sure that he will be a full time director in this one and will not appear in front of the camera.

And if you had observed well, you will see that after Ameer did his ‘Paruthiveeran’, Sasi Kumar (his assistant) did ‘Subramaniapuram’- Both are rustic subjects. And when Ameer is ready with his ‘Yogi’, Sasi is starting ‘Nagaram’- Both are tales about Chennai.
