Geethu gets ready for marriage

Mollywood actress Geethu Mohandas, who had acted opposite Madhavan in ‘Nala Dhamayanthi’, will marry her longtime friend Rajiv Ravi, an ace cinematographer who had worked for films like ‘Chandini Bar’ ‘Classmates’ and ‘Dev D’.

The marriage will take place on November 14 in Kochi, say circles close to the actress. Besides ‘Nala Dhamayanthi’, Geethu has done one more film in Tamil- K Balachandar’s ‘Poi’, produced by Prakash Raj.

Geethu and Ravi are in love with each other for the last five years, it is said. The affair was dubbed as “intellectual love” by the Malayalam media and Ravi is her friend, philosopher and guide for a long time now.

It is to be noted that only last month Geethu premiered her debut directorial venture ‘Kelkunundo’, whose cameraman was beyond any doubt Ravi. Grapevine has it that Geethu would direct a Hindi movie post marriage.
