The talented actor, a dancer to be in awe of and one of our youngest Padmasrhee awardees ever, Shobhana is all set to return the films. The actress, with the eyes that verbalize a thousand words, and a lanky figure, has earlier been part of many Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and English films.

Choosy about her roles, the actress has been part of a few of the most interesting and experimental projects in filmdom, playing myriad roles: from ‘Manichitrathazhu’ to ‘Kokila’ and ‘Mitr My Friend’.

The actress, who runs a dance school to take her art to the next generation as well, has turned choreographer with Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavana’. The actress has been coaching Aishwarya Rai in Bharatanatyam as the actress is said to be playing a singer and a dancer in the film.

But that’s not all. The actress has reportedly signed on a film as well, and will be reprising an important role in it. The movie is to be directed by a new comer, and an official announcement on that front is expected soon.
