Finally, shoot for Cheran’s ‘Pokkisham’, his directorial venture after ‘Maayakannadi’ has wrapped up. The film, produced by Jhabak, has the director-actor in the lead, with Padmapriya playing his lady love.

Shooting for the film, which has been in the making for two years, has finally ended, with the climax being shot in Malaysia. Post production for the film has begun, while plans are on to release the flick this August.

Speaking about the project, producer Jhabak reveals that the film will be a sure-shot success. “I have seen rushes of this film and I’m sure it’ll create more than twice the impact that ‘Anjathey’ did.

It is a nostalgic journey, shot very picturesquely and some great music. This is the first time that we have attempted producing a movie like this and we are sure this will be a roaring success,” he adds.
