Actress Padmapriya has a problem because she is too good. The Delhi-raised actress, who has taken up some of the most mature characters in her short stint as an actress, says she is being taken too seriously by filmmakers. I am sure that I will play only meaty, meaningful roles. But that has always landed me with older-than-usual roles. But for a change, director Chandru Sidharth has given me a role which is just ordinary. I enjoy doing it, says the actress, who says she is very excited about this Telugu project.

It is such a well-charted character and reminds me of Genelia’s role in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. I’m happy to have received it, says the actress, who teams up with Sathyanand, a young hero for this film. The duo will soon finish their acting and dubbing portions for their other films, as they soon will get together on this new, interesting yet-to-be-titled project. In Tamil, Padmapriya now has Irumbukottai Murattu Singam to do, apart from Pokkisham, which is awaiting release.
