Wonder what forces Meera Jasmine to do the roles she does. The talented actress and a National Award winner, Meera Jasmine was the first pick of many a director and hero, her expressive eyes and enviable acting prowess, her big asset. In fact, within a short span of time, the actress has worked with the biggest directors of South India, including Maniratnam, Lingusamy, Sathyan Athinkad and Lohithadas.

The actress, recently, however, has shocked many with her choice of roles. Her acceptance to do films like Nepaali, where she hardly made her presence felt, have baffled many. The actress has now agreed to be part of the Guiness Award venture, Sivappu Malai, apart from being heroine in Adhi Narayana.

Apart from these, Meera Jasmine has agreed to play the sister’s character in the Kannada flick, Devaru Kotta Thange. It is interesting to note that Meera plays to sister to Monika in the film. Earlier, in Lingusamy’s Sandakozhi, Meera was the heroine and Monika played her sister.
